ERROR:  Negative shares

What are negative shares?
Negative share are caused when more shares are closed than initially opened. Therefore, the amount of shares open becomes negative which is impossible.
IMPORTANT NOTE: When this condition exists, the P&L is not correct and may be drastically wrong! These positions must be fixed before filing!
How do I fix Negative Shares?
The error message box entitled "ERROR: Negative Shares" will appear and the main grid sheet will display a list of all the trades that have gone negative.
You will need to deal with each ticker separately. Take note of the trade number and ticker symbol and then use the Find,Ticker command to isolate all trades for that ticker to try to ascertain why this condition exists.
